Capt Md. Salah Uddin Chowdhury started his sea carrier in 1988, joining on board merchant vessel as Deck Cadet and continued for 20 years before he left sea. Working on board as 3rd officer, 2nd officer, Chief Officer & finally served as Master (Captain), in different renowned companies at home and abroad

He has obtained his Master Mariner (Class 1) certificate of competency (CoC) from MCA, UK. Beside above he has completed his BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) from UK as well. He has also participated various professional courses, such as International Training on Port Management, Shipping Management & Container terminal Management, Shipping, Logistics & International Trade Documents, ISM code 2010 & Auditor training, Merchant Navy Defense Training, BTEC Certificate of Achievement etc. He is a Fellow Member of The Nautical Institute (AFNI), LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, and a Member of the Executive Committee of Nautical Institute of Chattogram branch.
